On October 28th, the General Education Department at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) hosted a guest lecture featuring Dr. Jonathan Becker, dedicated to uncovering the core of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) for incoming freshmen.

      Rogers Rukeba, Master of Arts in Laws student at AUCA, presenting “AI and Immigration Governance” at the AALAU Presidents’ Forum, hosted by AUCA on 9-10 October. His talk was part of Session 1, on AI governance and institutional policy.

On October 21-23, 2026, AUCA librarians Madina Kerimova and Jumagul Beketaeva participated in the 14th Eurasian Academic Libraries Conference, hosted by Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan. The conference brought together library professionals to exchange experiences and strengthen regional collaboration.

Last Wednesday, students of the Anthropology and International Development Program at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) had the opportunity to attend a special guest lecture by Dr. Jacqueline T. Eng and Dr. Michelle Hrivnyak, bioarchaeologists from Western Michigan University. The lecture was held as part of the course Race, Human Diversity and Biology.

On October 16, 2026, the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) hosted an information session with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), led by Gizela Zimmermann, Director of DAAD Central Asia.
