AUCA students from the Anthropology department have taken an unusual tour to night shelters, orphanages and the rehabilitation centers

A special exhibition of Central Asian art: Sabidjan Babadjanov and Kaiyrgul Kazybekova will discuss their work and their influences, as well as the state of art in Central Asia. 

An exhibition of art of two famous artists took place at AUCA from March 17 through March 23

On March 17, at 13:30, an Opening Ceremony of “Business: small business management” and “English Language” programs will take place in AUCA.

The event took part on March, 7 at AUCA. The goal of the event was to create a deep sense of Woman’s Liberty and their fights for equality.

On 23 March 2012 CASI will host a talk by Dr. Tim Epkenhans, professor of Islamic and Iranian Studies at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg. The talk titled "Commanding Right and Forbidding Wrong? Islamic Elites, Business and the State in Tajikistan" will start at 16:00 at AUCA (Room 315).

On 6-7 March 2012 the Central Asian Studies Institute of AUCA hosted an international academic workshop titled “Interpreting the Soviet Cultural Legacy in Central Asia”. The event gathered 15 scholars and researchers representing some leading research centers and universities of Central Asia, Russia, Europe and the United States for a discussion organized around five themes (see agenda).
